LIMITED WARRANTY

WOOD SURROUND ALUMINUM COMBINATION STORM WINDOW

SP Windows for a period of five years from date of purchase will repair or replace, at seller's option, at no charge to the original purchaser, who presents proof of purchase, any part found to be defective in material or workmanship, exclusive of labor costs to remove and reinstall the product. Thereafter, seller's liability will be limited to eighty percent (80%) of cost up to six years (72 months), to sixty percent (60%) of cost up to seven years (84 months), to forty percent (40%) of cost up to eight years (96 months), to twenty percent (20%) of cost up to nine years (one hundred eight months), to ten percent (10%) of cost up to ten years (one hundred twenty months). This limited warranty applies to normal domestic use when proper drainage is provided at the bottom of the storm window (see diagram below) and the product is properly primed and painted on all sides within thirty days after installed. This is your exclusive warranty.

SP Windows does not authorize any person or representative to assume or grant any other warranty obligation with the sale of this product.

This limited warranty does not apply to screen damage or broken glass. Also, parts subject to normal wear are not covered by this limited warranty. This limited warranty does not apply to any part subjected to accident, alternation, abuse, misuse, including peeling and unpainted product, and modification after date of purchase, plugged weep holes and damage caused by fire or acts of God or nature.

SP Windows will not pay for service calls to correct the installation of the product and the labor cost to remove and reinstall of the product pursuant to claim under this limited warranty.

SP Windows liability for damages to you for any costs whatsoever arising out of this statement of limited warranty shall be limited to repairing or replacing product with then current model. Also, SP Windows shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising out of the use or inability to use this product. Some states, provinces or jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above-limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights, which may vary, from state-to-state or province-to-province.

1/4 inch wide x 1/4 inch tall upside down "V" or "U" shape is required to be cut through the bottom of the wood frame at the end of the drainage tubes. Do not caulk or seal tight the bottom of your storm window.
